CAMPAIGN LEADERS CONFERENCE
 More than 400 campaign leaders and volunteers gathered at the United Way Center for United Way of Greater Houston's 2008 Campaign Leaders Conference. The half day event, held on July 16, was the place to come to be inspired, get energized, and learn how to change Houston for good.
At the opening session, keynote speaker Bill Toliver, delivered a powerful message on what it means to advance the common good, how United Way is uniquely positioned to do just that, and how individuals committed to a cause like United Way can change the world. Read more…

 If you ask Rico and John how they found each other, they will say it was fate, a blessing, pure luck. But it was United Way that made it possible.
While John's job took him to faraway places, he was looking for an opportunity to volunteer at home. A United Way youth mentoring program was just the ticket.
