ConocoPhillips Boasts Million Dollar Results

Congratulations to ConocoPhillips for achieving million dollar status for the 13th consecutive year! ConocoPhillips raised more than $3.3 million for our community, which includes a dollar-for-dollar employee match. The company's outstanding results represent a 9 percent increase over 2007, boosted by a 17 percent increase in leadership giving.

The strong support and leadership of Chairman and CEO Jim Mulva and Senior Vice President of Finance and CFO Sig Cornelius took the ConocoPhillips' campaign to new heights this year, including starting their campaign a week early. Their unwavering commitment to do something about it will ensure United Way, our community's social services safety net, remains strong as the Greater Houston area rebounds from Hurricane Ike and the financial crisis.
